Puyehue volcano eruption. Satellite image of the Puyehue volcano in the Puyehue National Park of the Chilean Andes, during an eruption. This stratovolcano and the Cordon Caulle form a coalesced volcanic mountain massif in the Andes of Ranco Province, Chile. This eruption started on 4th June 2011 and lasted into 2012. Image by the SPOT 4 satellite, in 2011.
