Pink beryl crystal. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a crystal of a pink variety of the beryl. Beryl (beryllium aluminium silicate) is found in several varieties: several varieties of beryl, aquamarine (blue), emerald (green), goshenite, heliodor and morganite.
