Griffon vultures (Gyps fulvus) scavenging. This bird has a wingspan of between 230 and 265 centimetres. It is native to mountainous areas of the Mediterranean, Africa and Asia, and feeds mainly on the carcasses of large mammals. Photographed in north-eastern Spain.
