Cape river frog (Amietia fuscigula) sitting on a rock in a stream. This frog is widespread in the Cape provinces of South Africa. It measures 12 centimetres in length. Its diet comprises insects, snails, small rodents, lizards and other frogs. It can be cannibalistic. Photographed at Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa.
