Pilot whales at dawn. Pair of short-finned pilot whales (Globicephala macrorhynchus) surfacing at sunrise. The short-finned pilot whale is found throughout the world's temperate and tropical waters. It is actually a large dolphin that can grow up to 4-6 metres in length, and feeds on fish, squid and octopus. Photographed in the Gulf of California, Mexico.
