Bryozoans. Brightfield light micrograph of a section through two moss animals (phylum Bryozoa), showing their tentacles (feather-like). Bryozoa are tiny filter-feeding invertebrate animals that sieve food particles out of the water using retractable lophophores, crowns of tentacles lined with cilia (hair-like).
