Longnose hawkfish (Oxycirrhites typus) on black coral (order Antipatharia). This fish inhabits the steep outer slopes of coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific region, where it feeds on small invertebrates. It can grow up to 10 centimetres in length. Photographed on the Great Barrier reef, Coral Sea, Australia.
