Bell telephone. Historical illustration of an exterior and sectioned view of a magnetic coil model of telephone as developed by Scottish-US speech therapist and inventor Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922). The telephone was developed in the 1870s, with several inventors pioneering the technology, of which Bell became the most famous.
