Amazon water lily (Victoria amazonica) flower and pads. This is the largest of the water lillies. The leaves of these plants can unfurl from buds to reach six feet across in three days. All victorias are night blooming. They originate in the Amazon basin, Brazil. Photographed in a botanical garden in Lund, Sweden.
