Cupric acetate crystals. Polarized light micrograph of a section through crystals of cupric acetate (copper(II) acetate). Historically, copper acetates of some form have been used as fungicides and green pigments. Today, they are used as reagents for the synthesis of various inorganic and organic compounds. Magnification: x100 when printed at 10 centimetres tall.
