Basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) are a common form of skin cancer. Gorlin syndrome is a hereditary condition involving defects within multiple body systems, including the skin, nervous system, eyes and bones. People with Gorlin Syndrome are particularly prone to developing BCCs.
