Great Aletsch Glacier, whose rippled surface includes several streams of moraine material, is around 23 kilometres long. It is the largest glacier in the Alps. In the background you can see some of the most famous mountain tops of the Bernese Alps in Switzerland - Jungfrau, Eiger and Moench.
