Cyclotosaurus prehistoric amphibian. Computer illustration of a Cyclotosaurus sp. temnospondyl. This primitive amphibian lived from the Ladinian stage (around 242 million years ago) of the Middle Triassic to the Norian stage (around 208 million years ago) of the Late Triassic period, in what is now Central Europe, as well as Greenland and Thailand. It was large for an amphibian, reaching around 4 metres long.
