Caption

Human eye. Close-up footage of a healthy human eye, showing the greenish-brown iris surrounding the dark pupil. Eye movements and the blink reflex occur. The eyeball has a tough outer coat, know as the sclera (white); its front circular part, the cornea, is transparent, protrudes slightly and provides most of the focusing power of the eye. Behind the cornea is the iris, surrounding the pupil. Behind the pupil is the crystalline lens which provides the eye with some additional focusing power. Blinking draws moisture across the eye and removes irritants.
