The corner of a human eye. Macroscopic footage showing the inner corner (medial canthus) of a healthy human eye. The pink triangle of tissue at the corner is called the lacrimal caruncle. It contains sweat and oil glands called sudoriferous and sebaceous glands, and fatty tissue. The sclera or white of the eye is also visible, with its blood vessels, as well as the lashes of the upper and lower eyelids.
