Rous sarcoma virus (RSV) infection, coloured transmission electron micrograph (TEM). It causes sarcoma, a form of cancer, in chickens. Cancer-causing viruses are classed as oncoviruses. Magnification: x25,000 when printed at 10 centimetres tall.
