Caption

Flight from Earth to an exoplanet. Animation showing a flight from Earth, out of the solar system, to an exoplanet orbiting its sun-like star. The planet, known as UCF-1.01, orbits a star called GJ 436, which is located 33 light-years away. Probably rocky in composition, UCF-1.01 orbits close to its star, so it is likely this planet lacks an atmosphere and might even have a molten surface. Another exoplanet is also known to orbit GJ 436, and appears in the background.
