Facsimile of Luther's translation of the New Testament from Greek into German during his 10-month stay at Wartburg castle, located in Eisenach Germany. The bible was printed in 1522, contributing enormously to the development of the written German language. The bible is exhibited in the small, rustic room where Luther lived during his time in the castle.
