Chromium (III) hydroxide precipitate. Chromium (III) hydroxide precipitate (Cr(OH)3) formed by adding a 1M solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to a 0.15 M solution of chromium (III) potassium sulfate (KCr(SO4)2). The reaction is KCr(SO4)2 + NaOH -> Cr(OH)3 + KNaSO4 + Na2SO4.
