Snow crystal with many branches arranged in a very vague symmetry. The chiselled 60 degree corners on the branches is an indication of slower growth. This snowflake is 6.1mm in diameter and would translate to a magnification fact of roughly 16x if reproduced at 10cm wide. Photographed on a black woollen fabric, this image is a focus-stacked composite of multiple frames to increase the amount of the image in focus.
