Araucaria heterophylla, araucariaceae, also called Norfolk Island Pine or Star Pine. It is not a true pine. Distinguished for its widely spaced branches, and symmetrical triangular outline. Its origins go back to Norfolk Island, between Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. Widely grown on Cycladic islands, Greece.
