Test for hip congenital hip dislocation. Computer illustration showing the Galeazzi test being used to diagnose developmental dysplasia of the hip in infants. This condition is a congenital or developmental deformation or misalignment of the hip joint. The test is performed by flexing the child's knees when they are lying down so that the feet touch the surface and the ankles touch the buttocks. If the knees are not level then the test is positive.
