A climber stands near High Camp on Mt Vinson (4892m) Antarctica. Situated at 3710m altitude, the summit is a 8-12hour return trip from here. Mt Vinson is the highest point in Antarctica, and is the most remote of the seven summits, being 1000km from the South Pole.
