Metabolic enzyme. Computer artwork of aconitase, an enzyme involved in the TCA (Krebs) cycle. It is responsible for the conversion of citrate to isocitrate. Aconitase's reactivity is due to an iron-sulphur cluster (yellow and black cube) positioned near the enzyme's active site, which interacts directly with citrate to catalyse (speed up) its conversion.
