In the man made clear glass group from left to right dodecahedron, icosahedron, cube, tetrahedron, octahedron. Platonic solids are polyhedrons whose sides are all the same regular polygon. Platonic solids are named after Plato who saw the shapes as fundamental to the four classical elements of earth, air, fie and water.
