Craters of the Moon walking tour. Park ranger leading visitors on a walking tour of the cave area at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, Idaho, USA. This protected area consists of lava fields (flood basalt areas), volcanic cones, and sagebrush steppe grasslands. It was established as a National Monument in 1924, and as a National Preserve in 2002.
