Sclerodactyly of the finger. Close-up of the ring finger of a 37-year-old male patient affected by sclerodactyly (red) that has led to necrosis (tissue death). Sclerodactyly is a localised thickening and tightness of the skin of the fingers or toes. It often leads to ulceration and atrophy (wasting) of the underlying soft tissues.
