Fuel cell vehicle. The Toyota FCV Plus hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. This car is powered by a fuel cell where hydrogen from the fuel tank and oxygen from the air react to generate electrical power. The only by-products are heat and water, making this technology a clean source of power compared to the pollutant gases and carbon dioxide produced by the burning of fossil fuels. Photographed in 2016 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
