Taser injury. Close-up of injuries on the elbow of a male patient caused by being struck with a Taser. A Taser, or conducted electrical weapon (CEW), fires two small dart-like electrodes that deliver an electric current to the person in order to disrupt voluntary muscle control, resulting in incapacitation. Here, the taser struck the person on the chest and elbow simultaneously.
