Oil sick from a damaged oil tanker. A worker using a hose to clean rocks covered in oil spilled from a damaged oil tanker. The Nadezhda oil tanker (background) ran aground near the port of Nevelsk in the Sakhalin Region, Russia, on 28th November 2015. The vessel was carrying nearly 800 tonnes of oil, which spilled into the sea and contaminated a section of coastline, threatening a colony of Steller sea lions.
