Red fox (Vulpes vulpes) looking up. The long canine teeth (white) can be seen either side of its mouth. These teeth are used for gripping and tearing food. Red foxes are found in North America, Eurasia and North Africa, and are the only native wild canids remaining in the UK and Ireland. Photographed in Surrey, England, UK in April.
