Indian ornamental tree spider (Poecilotheria regalis). Close-up of the chelicerae (mouthparts) of an Indian ornamental tree spider, showing its venomous fangs (centre). This arboreal tarantula is found in the Western and Eastern Ghats mountain ranges of India. The mainly eat flying insects, which they catch in flight and paralyse with a bite from these fangs.
