Molecular model of the Glutamic Acid (C5. H7. NO3), a non-essential amino acid, the most common neurotransmitter found in the central nervous system, specifically within the spinal cord and brain. Glutamic acid is also important for energy production, protecting the immune system, removing toxic ammonia from the body and supporting muscle growth and function.
