A family of Xeric Four-striped grass mice or Four-striped Grass Rats (Rhabdomys pumilio) foraging and sunning themselves in the early morning sunshine in the middle of winter. This rodent is found throughout the southern half of Africa up to an altitude of around 2, 300 metres. Filmed in the Auob riverbed of the Kgalagadi transfrontier park in Southern Africa.
