Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis). The breadfruit, so called because of its bread-like taste and texture, is highly nutritious and easy to preserve. Breadfruits have a thick warty rind containing yellow flesh, and are prepared by roasting, steaming or baking. Photographed in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
