Camphor. Molecular model of the organic chemical camphor (C10.H16.O). Classed as a terpenoid, this is a waxy, white or transparent solid that has a strong, aromatic odour. It is used as a cooking ingredient, embalming fluid, for medical purposes, and in religious ceremonies.
