Human spinal cord cancer (neuroblastoma) cells, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). These cells were isolated from a neuroendocrine tumour in a young child. Neuroblastoma is a common cancer in very young children. It is a known as a neuroendocrine tumour that arises from any neural crest cells in the sympathetic nervous system.
