Enallagma cyathigerum (known as: common blue damselfly, common bluet, or northern bluet) is in the family Coenagrionidae. This family is referred to as the narrow-winged damselflies or the pond damselflies. The Coenagrionidae have a worldwide distribution, and are among the most common of damselfly families. This family has the smallest of damselfly species. Magnification: x4. 5 when shortest axis printed at 25 millimetres.
