Presidential visit to Houston. Footage of crowds in the streets and police motorbike riders during the visit to Houston, Texas, USA, by US President John F. Kennedy on 12 September 1962. Kennedy was in Houston as part of a tour of several newly established space centres. While in Houston, he made a famous speech ('We choose to go to the Moon') at Rice University's Rice Stadium, and also visited the Manned Spacecraft Center (later renamed the Johnson Space Center).
