Caption

Tunicate (class Larvacea). Larvacean tunicates are small tadpole-like animals found throughout the world's oceans. They create a mesh (known as a 'house') around their bodies which they use to filter minute food particles from the surrounding water. These structures are regularly discarded and replaced.
