Harvest mouse climbing a plant. Harvest mouse (Micromys minutes) climbing a broad-leaved dock plant (Rumex obtusifolius). This small rodent is native to Europe and Asia. It is usually found in fields of cereal crops, long grass and hedgerows, where it feeds on seeds, insects, nectar and fruit. Photographed in July, in Dorset, UK.
