Braille book production. A print worker making covers for a braille children's book. Children's books usually have braille covers similar to the standard versions. The books are being produced at a publishing house which prints books and other materials for the visually impaired. Braille is a system of writing that allows blind people to access print. It consists of sequences of cells, each of which contains a pattern of raised dots that can be sensed through the fingers. Different patterns of dots represent letters, numbers, punctuation marks and even short words. Photographed in Kentucky, USA.
