Butler Wash ruins, southeastern Utah, USA. These ruins are part of the remains of the Anasazi civilization. This culture, also known as the Ancestral Pueblo, flourished in the south-western USA from the 8th to 12th centuries. The site is located at Cedar Mesa in Bears Ears National Monument, a protected area of approximately 1.35 million acres.
