Caption

Drugstore beetle, illustration. Drugstore beetles (Stegobium paniceum) can infest not only food products, but also inedible materials including books, fur, leather and horns. Its name is due to the fact that its larvae are extremely omnivorous and are able to eat highly toxic substances such as strychnine, aconite, ergot and belladonna.
