Corneal ulcer. Fluorescein dye (with blue excitation) being used to highlight (white and light blue area) an ulcer of the cornea, the transparent front part of the eye. This is an example of Mooren's ulcer (ulcus rodens), a class of corneal ulcers caused by immune-mediated eye diseases and found at the border of the cornea and sclera. This is the patient's right eye.
