The symptoms include memory loss, personality changes and confusion. This woman and man are socialising at the Kilmarnock Resource Centre, in Ayrshire, Scotland. This centre includes community-based support for those with a diagnosis of dementia, both under and over the age of 65. The resource centre offers a wide variety of groups and activities, as well as support from a dementia advisor and a dementia social worker. Photographed in 2016.
