Caption

Lantern bug (Pyrops pyrorhynchus). Lantern bugs are a genus of planthopper, primarily from southeast Asia. Planthoppers (superfamily Fulgoroidea) feed on plant sap using their needle-like mouthparts. Some planthoppers are a minor pest of a range of crops, but they cause little damage to healthy plants.
