Impetigo facial sores. Bacterial skin infection and sores in a case of impetigo in a teenage boy. This contagious bacterial infection is caused by staphylococcus and streptococcus bacteria. Here, the infection is due to streptococcus bacteria. The infection spreads quickly, with fluid-filled pustules forming sores, on which orange crusts have formed. Treatment is with hygiene and application of antibiotics to the sores.
