Double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) nesting in a tree. This seabird is found on both coasts of North America, where it lives in brackish and freshwater habitats on lakes, rivers, swamps, bays and coasts. This bird builds a stick nest in trees, on cliff edges, or on the ground. Photographed in Baja California, Mexico.
