Caption

Double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) on its nest. This seabird is found on both coasts of North America, where it lives in brackish and freshwater habitats on lakes, rivers, swamps, bays and coasts. This bird builds a stick nest in trees, on cliff edges, or on the ground. Photographed in Baja California, Mexico.
